Doom eternal only changes values like [token=cool down] speed for enemy, dmg, resources something related to countable. There is no change in enemy arrangements nor additions of enemy behaviors(they will be more aggressive due to token speed, though). So if devs change enemy arrangements in one difficulty, then all difficulties go to same enemy sets. It means that a user choose the easiest mode in old version of DLC, that user would get into possessed Baron of the hell. And DLC was not a side story but a completion of doom slayer saga, many people have frustration.

So, After counter-nerf patch, Devs make it sure that dlc will be more harder with annoying pop-ups.
It only reminds me that there was a possessed baron of the hell in ancient time.

You sure? IIRC the game did change enemy-compositions on Nightmare. Granted, never played below it, so wouldn't know. If anything that'd be a further promotion to having difficulty changes. Give Nightmare and above the unique enemy setups that were too hard.

I played normal and ultraviolence, but I've seen multiple Nightmare runs. The compositions of ultraviolence and Nightmare are the same, but in normal a lot of encounters (not all) are different (expecially the Slayer Gates)

What? I didn't know cause I play on UV difficulty from beginning. And they still erased possessed Baron of the hell?

I am more depressed than before.

So they're different on certain difficulties? I was giving them benefit of the doubt that maybe enemies were hardcoded to be the same on all difficulties - programmers like to take shortcuts afterall, but it's just laziness.

is there any way to play TAG1 as it was on launch on pc? If no, then it's up to community to something as challenging or more with mods.

I don't think so due to its DLC nature: with main games you can Just retreive the .exe of the version that you want, but DLC runs through the main game functioning as a "client" so you can download only the latest version and the main game can actually run only the latest one

Sucks how hard it is to downgrade games, but luckly I've search internet a bit and there is appearently a mod on nexus that restores TAG1 (or at least make it closer to what it was ) -https://www.nexusmods.com/doometernal/mods/245?tab=description

Didn’t play it, but nice to see sh2 remake isn’t a disaster like other remakes… or atleast it seems. Some people I know that would be the first to hate it love it so far.

Pretty decent video, but I think he overrates shen since shen suffers from the fact that aside from like, 2 moves direction dodging doesn’t matter much and pressing the button on the right time will net you the victory.

I beat Amnesia the bunker on normal and it was surprisingly good. It has flexible tools, For examples your gun can shoot enemies, obviously, but It can be used as tool for unlocking specific locks. Flare can be used for making a light source, but also you can shook certain enemies and make a fire on ponds of fuels.

Also, almost most things are duel-sword, risks and rewards are inseparable. Like, Fuels can charge the generator, which keeps electronics going, also makes you move safely and operates machines. But as I wrote above, fuels can be used for firing things.

The map is compact and open-ended, there is somewhat guided paths, like certain soft-locks requesting a specific item. But gathering that kind of items is not arranged in linear style, and sometimes there are alternative roots. Which means, you can just proceed levels by your own pace and decision. The only disappointing thing for me was macro level designs. There are five sectors, including hub location in the center. But other 4 sections are connected with hub locution, not each other. They are mostly self-contained. I recommend it, especially it is on game pass & on sale at steam(late for Halloween though)..

I heard a lot of good things about that game, seemed to have gone for a good mixture of Resident Evil style gameplay and what made Amnesia so famous at the time (scary ass game). Good to hear you recommend it, might add it to my Gamepass playlist down the line if I can get to it.

Personally still playing SoP and some Black Ops 6. Haven't touched CoD since BO2, which is generations ago at this point. Surprised how little has changed but also how much it has been refined. They're still very well made games, excellent campaign so far to the point I'd say I wish I had this to play as a kid instead of Agent under Fire. Stages are extremely open so far with a ton of things to do. Just the first (real) mission alone, in how you reach the tower where the sniper is, just fantastic. You can go at it in so many ways, and they're all organically viable. From guns blazing, sneaking, picking the lock, finding the key, or just climbing the rooftops - great stuff.

Shadow generations, despite being 3 hours long with like 5 levels, is the best game that released this year. The AMOUNT of secrets each level has is astonishing…… Even the first level could be the best level in a solid platformer game but they somehow surpass it…. Definitely my Goty.

>Amnesia the bunker
It was really positive suprise. I didn't expect game like that from makers of Amnesia:Dark Descent, especially how scripted that game was to a point it look more like a magic show. It relied on a lot of tricks like spawning totaly harmless monster that walks away and disapears or making moster specific triggers and paths. It's really more funny than scary once you see through those tricks.

But The Bunker is very good. Tons of great horror mechanics. Map is very well-designed and condensed. There is degree of randomization in item placement, so you can can't really route everything and it force you to engage with mechanics more and be creative, because I once got run where I got plenty of revolver ammo, but in another one I had barely any, however I've got tons of gas nades. Never could quite get grasp of the monster AI tho.

Played it long time ago and I heard they added lot's of new content awhile ago.
