Just finished recording the latest episode. It's a shorter one of around an hour so it should be up by tomorrow.
It's about Nioh with PooferLlama,another great style player,as a guest.

Also if everything goes according to plans, the next guest will be Farnham The Drunk, the NG player that recently finished the NG2 No Death run.

Oooh, interesting to hear on Poofer, he was always a good player! Would be interesting to hear a shorter episode that's more single-game focused.

Speaking of Nioh, any opinions on this video? I asked on reddit for a guide to Nioh 2 tech, and someone directed me to this, which looks pretty extensive.

Good content honestly, but more-over I'm really impressed by the editing, camerawork, images, gifs and everything being used. This is some really, really, really in-depth tutorial. Hats of to the man.

It's one of the best and most comprehensive tutorial on Nioh 2, explains almost every piece of tech you need to know to start playing at a higher level. Only thing missing is Item Cancels iirc, but I'm pretty sure it does have another video where he explains it.

After fighting with my connection speed and the video almost getting stuck at "processing will begin shortly", the new episode is finally online.
Poofer couldn't spare more than 1 hour so it's a shorter episode focused on Nioh. I have to say I'm happy how it turned out, but having only 1 hour to work with it is a bit more stressfull, I had to rush some stuff to have a more complete discussion. I think around 2 hours is the best duration, it's a lot easier to have a more relaxed chat and cover more topics.
I also changed the background graphic, I think it's a lot cleaner than before.

Design-wise it might be a good idea to use a white font with purple outline or maybe something orange/yellow, something that pops a bit more. I can't really read the thumbnail let alone during the video haha.

Going to listen to it tomorrow when I'm painting miniatures.

You're right. Youtube made it darker and it's kinda hard to read, going to change it for next time.

In Nioh 2 is it possible to build for gun only and never run out of ammo and can bullets inflict status effects? Might consider it if so.

Tai might be able to correct me, but IIRC the infinite ammo builds of Nioh 1 are gone in Nioh 2.

Yeah from what I know you can't reach infinite ammo. There are some bow builds that can melt bosses and even some wave missions, but even with stacking "untouched ammos" (which is the skill that gives you a % of not using ammos when you fire) they don't reach 100%.
So good for bosses, but I don't think you can do entire missions with only the bow/gun.

More than with the article I've been busy with life, I had to sort out some stuff so I didn't have the time to record any more episodes. The project is still active however, next episode will either be late August or early September if everything goes well.
