VJ podcast featuring Saur

I haven't actually played VJ since I was a kid, I still have it for ps2 but I'll get it for GameCube since my wii can play those. I haven't looked into it but VJ doesn't get much talk, it's mostly DMC, NG, Bayo and even GH now.

I haven't put much time into VJ, but listen to this podcast nonetheless. Some seriously insightful content here. Saur also comments on TFD and his views on the state of gaming.

I'll have to get VJ soon, that podcast is good stuff. I'll have to check VJ high level stuff.

I've been going through other podcasts there of games I love like Okami, El Shaddai and Dragon's Dogma. In the El Shaddai one, one of the guys just hates the game so passionately that it doesn't even make sense. I wonder why he's even in the podcast at all. There's no point being there to just trash the game, and he would have CHOSEN to participate. It's just bizarre.

Sucks one of them didn't like it they seem reasonable they loved VJ.
El shaddai is cool, I was wondering what you could do in it as you don't have a movelist to check, but I think I found most of the set moves you could do and combo into, it's a lot like dmc except angels.

I don't think all the people are the same every time.

Yeah there isn't a huge moveset but there are a few things that might be hard to find. Like with the Gale (shooting one), when you do the guard breaker where he launches a shot in a high arc, you can actually launch those repeatedly but you have to tap the button at the right time. I didn't know about this attack when I first played and actually only noticed it like last year.

VJ is a great game to delve into, gave it a lot of love last year when I finally gave it a shot and I just adore it. There's some really great players at it like Gen 2000 who really rip the game apart. I'm going to listen to this cast tomorrow at work, thanks for sharing!

Wasn't able to get into watching VJ. Will still have to work on it (to watch speedruns and such).
