So I thought it would be a nice idea to make a list of more advanced plays and tactics. Obviously the general concensous is to just ram through and destroy them with deflects, but you can play around with fire:
Here's Japanese player OLTO going ham on NG+7 with Hardships and DemonBell:
He shows a lot of abuse in terms of fire, which seems to be the best element this time around.
A lot of bosses (and enemies mind you) can be locked using Ash and FireCrackers, negating them completely. Here's another example of Lady Butterfly being destroyed with the Fire Axe: https://www.bilibili.com/video/av47256789?from=search&seid=10061004575483088276
