Metal Wolf Chaos

A game that is going to be localized this year. A third-person mech game that originally came out in 2004 but never came out of Japan. From Software made this and Devolver Digital is going to remaster the thing. As I looked this up, it has been delayed to the mid year.

How is this delayed?

I hope this release ruins the scalpers.

Probably a coding issue, or delayed to a new fiscal year, or to not compete with something else. Games like this tend to generate the best profit if released in a drought.

What is it with August and good releases.....

Because it is summer. I think that people would like to shop on good conditions. It also extends to Fall and Winter due to Black Friday and Christmas.

It's so cool how the weapon selection works. Think Cloud's bike from Advent Children with the sword racks on either side and imagine that coming out of the mech's shoulders.

This game is rough on the fingers though, just like Gun Valkyrie and Crazy Taxi. More like GV because dashing is done by clicking in and holding the left stick.

This is another game on my "to buy" list, it looks very cool. I'm surprised there's no Armored Core topic in the FromSoft section either. If anyone has played both, do the titles play similarly?

I didn't play much of AC so I can't offer much there.

You have a dash on a meter and that can overheat, and weapons have ammo. Not sure if the same was the case in AC.
