Looks like standard Arkham. Nothing wrong with that, but like you said, the RPG aspects have me raising a few eyebrows.
And I don't exaggerate when I say that the level indicators and damage numbers (font, choice of colour when critical hit happens) is the exact same as in the last 2 Assassin's Creed games. Which aren't very good.

Saw the presentation live. As a Batman fan, I'm excited. Damian Wayne, Dick Grayson, Jason, Barb - it's cool to see the bat-family get a chance to shine in the spotlight. You can bet your ass that Bruce isn't dead and that he'll be revealed near the end to have faked his death blabla and it was the Joker all along.
Not a fan *at all* that it is even further away from regular crime-fighting. Just another city filled with criminals, not civilians. Basically a giant arena. The damage values ... really hurt.
A shame since the previous Arkham games were really good imo.
