NGS2 - Freestyle

Showing some cool combos with the Talons on Master Ninja Chapter 1 of Chapter Challenge.

After all the hours I've put into NGII now, NGS2 looks so weird, yet so charming as well. Good stuff! I love the wall-run stuff with the Talons. Any reasons you didn't toy with the grabs in particular? Always loved that stuff of of the Talons. Last IS ninja at 2:40 just didn't want to die haha. Nice izuna around 5 mins!

Thanks for the support man. Actually, one of the combos I was using turns into a grab if the last hit connects, unfortunately, the enemy either got beheaded and died before I had the chance or he didn't want to get hit by it. Yes, the games are very different NGS2 looks empty like a barren wasteland in comparison to NG2.

I might try a similar freestyle video with another weapon but there are so many good choices to choose from Tonfas, True Dragon Sword, BOTA or even the KG.

Do those female characters have as much to them as Ryu?

In my opinion they have about as much depth as Ryu with a single weapon, since they only have one. Though this is 'at best', some are a bit more basic and most lack the extreme mobility he has I feel.

The female characters have a lot of depth just like Ryu, however, out of the 3 female characters it's my opinion that Rachel has the most tech available to her since you can GC and DC with her.

At 1:50, how did you know he would jump, so you would charge the UT. What was the tell?

NGS2 - Tonfas Vs Fiend Genshin Freestyle (Double Dash)

Special Moment Breakdown (Text format)

I'm at point-blank range as Fiend Genshin begins his flaming charge attack I evade by dodging to the right. After successfully evading his attack I use an aimed jump (S+X together) into an aerial S which connects.

I then hit-confirm into S which is a multi-hitting attack however the attack hits twice. I cancel S with the Tonfas built-in dash performed by pressing X or L1 + any direction in which case I dashed away from him as FG began his roll attack.

After the Tonfas built-in dash finishes, I had no alternative but to dash away from him again otherwise his roll attack would have clipped me.

During the animation of the second dash, I held block L1 and was able to counter the lash hit of his roll with S. This requires perfect spacing and timing not only for the counter but the double dash itself.

After countering with S I used the built-in dash again using X into a dash to the right, aimed jump (S+X) together into aerial bow shot R2 in mid-air into a delayed aerial T.

Time on the video is 0.24 - 0.30 seconds

Arguably my best NGS2 video to date this one is very technical, only a handful of players globally could replicate this video. Please enjoy!
