That’s real neato.
Only played dmc2 once when I got the HD collection(360). I didn’t have any other exposure to it so it was new for me. Didn’t hate it, didn’t love it, had some neat stuff and some cool bosses; Too many boring levels and a lot of lame bosses and foes also.
I’ve been saving playing DMC series for a marathon near 5’s release, so I’ll go through 2 again in more detail.

DMC2 is great if you play it as Trish, she plays much better. Lucia is pretty fun too, but Dante just gets the short end of the stick. If you ever play the game just play her Campaign first and work towards unlocking Trish ASAP.
