PAIN+ run

Inspired by my time with God of War, I decided to boot up a PAIN+ run of the original Ninja Gaiden on Xbox (so not Black, yet). General rules of the run:

Basically just play as the Ryu you start with.
- no upgrades (weapon and Ryu)
- no ninpo
- no healing items
- no subweapons (bow etc. unless forced)
- no opening chests
- no armlets, no shops

CounterAttacks are annoying, since you don't start with them but in this game you are forced to pick it up. I'll do my best not to use them, but I probably won't restart if Ryu just derps one out by accident. I am recording the run, will upload whenever I have time to edit.

What difficulty? As don't you get different weapons and moves with some?

Hardest setting in the game (Very Hard), and yeah also not allowed to use any other weapons. So just Level 1 Dragon Sword the whole way through.

Tiny bit stuck at Dynamo. His random shots always get me. I try to loop him but sometimes he just turns around and shoots me in the face. Not sure on how to avoid it.

Finally beat Dynamo, thank god. At Hydracubus now!
