A bit early, but I'll probably be offline for the rest of the day soon anyway. I hope you'all had a decent 2021 despite all the 'rona things throwing things around, and I wish each and every one of you a happy 2022. Any of you follow new-years-resolutions? If so, what are they? :) Cheers and see you guys all next year!

Happy New Year everyone, hope it’s better than that the last.
My only resolution as of now is to not be depressed about turning 30 this year.

I would never have guessed that you are in your twenty-some's, reading the stuff that you write. The bunch I know act and behave like retarded toddlers, incapable to grow as persons. A fine thing to set apart from, I'll say this much.
I could never get behind as to why people consider that age as some kind of a gate. I couldn't when I was under it and still can't after I moved on. Is the fun over yet? Do I need to be a grown-up now, since everbody I know doesn't look at me as this young buck anymore? Time to sire the offsprings soon? The depressing *SIGH*-point of no return? Whatever it was, I clearly missed it.
I am stronger now than I was ever before. I put it down to experience. Numbers inherently lie, didn't you know?

Can't believe it, but I'm with Zenyn on this one haha. Mate of mine had that feeling when he was 35, since he felt he didn't accomplish what he wanted to by that point. Some things obviously have not gone anyone's way these last few years, but look at it this way: 30 is the time to shine. You're finally experienced enough to make great steps, and still young enough to take them.

It basically set me at least half a year back, or a full year if I don't wake up soon enough. I had problems adjusting, and I hope I can make things better this year (except for things out of my control that is).

No. Maybe shit-to-do, but that's the usual.

More of the same (or worse). Can't wait.

At least you're in a better position than me. I'll be 37.
>resolutions
Never. My take is if you can do something why the hell are you waiting for a certain date to do it?
>2022
>more of the same
It's not looking good.

Not too far off. With age the passing of time just seems to go faster as one becomes slower.
>why wait
Why, indeed.
>not looking good
At all. Better strap yourselves in, lads.
