Currently swamped with Yakuza, but it's on my wishlist for when it hits sale.

See you in 20 years then hah.

I'll probably play it sooner. I'll be sure to leave some notes.

It's on the third topic in the Various Action Games though a bit barren. It does catch my interest though.

Merged the topics. Apparently Cvit hates it so that's a good indication of it being a solid title.

The mechanical blindness is STRONG in that one.
At least he asked for advice but it quickly degenerated into ''B-but the game does a bad job telling you how to play!"

Cvit hates when games don’t tell you exactly how to play.

I finally played it. When you start the game, it dumps on you its mechanics and if you didn't memorize them - too bad, you can't access those info from the menu (or I at least didn't find it), so no wonder Cvit was filtered by it lol.
The game itself is combo action game with some emphasis on efficiency and clear 2d figthing game inspirations. It doesn't have that many moves, in fact you don't obtain or buy any new moves (only thing that you can buy at the store are health and meter upgrades and projectiles). Combos are not praticularly fancy in the game, they're more about dealing guaranteed dmg.
I like that moves have some comitment and you can't cancel everything without spending a meter. It's a creates nice tradeoffs, you can cancel a move or fill up the meter and enter DT state, in which you regain health and get EX moves for free.
Elite enemies unfortunately have sitdown mechanics, making them not react to any attacks at all untill you break their armour and after awhile they regain it. It was obviously designed to stop you from just launching them. Thankfully, there are not that many enemies with it.
Taunt has suprisingly great utility. It has a hitbox, which sends enemies flying far away which also makes them bounce off the walls making it good combo extension tool. It can also be used as great crowd control tool as it has great range and can keep enemies away. It also can cancel moves for free. You can do dash attack and cancel it with a taunt and you get a stinger of sort hah. Note: there is also another taunt done by presing down+ taunt, it's okay launcher.
Also, game seems to score you more on efficiency than style as time and dmg taken seem to be more important to obtaining good ranks rather than style category. It also has full-fledged leaderboard.
I haven't finished a game, but I'm enjoying it so far.

He's stupid beyond belief. Watch his new video on Dororo. He couldn't even figure out how to dodge right away and had a cry about it.
He doesn't even attempt to press any buttons until a game tells him to.

Yeah, saw it today. Why he makes such a big fucking deal out of it lmao?
He should stop playing action games if he struggles with ability to use his brain. I really value this discrete and nuanced design of action games where they don't give you all the answers on the plate table and trust players to figure it out their own solutions.
Also, I don't particularly like modern trend of visualising every single mechanic or interection via rpg-like elements or visual indicators. Not only it's overdone and makes screen looks busy, but also simplifies gameplay dynamics into just looking out for those visuals signs.
