I just realized that I forgot to talk about this little run I once tried like 3 months ago in valhalla.
It´s a NUR run in valhalla. But I do not mean the upgrades you get by the doors and chests. I mean literal skill tree. Its not good gameplay but just want to put it out there. It also isnt the entire run but only the tyr segment.

Alright here I digged this up. Old footage of me trying to play ragnarok but in a more strategic manner. Taking it slow and safe but also very efficient while relying on my options. In fact this is my favourite encounter in the game. Its simplistic yet fun. Btw if the enemies dont approach kratos, you can try using the lock-on feature and that usually helps. Also without any upgrades of course

My favorite encounter is either:
Einherjar gauntlet vanahiem 1
Grim encounter in svartflheim 1 that was shown in game informer
Raggy battle
Einherjar captian encounter in vanahiem 2
Light elve gauntlet in alfhiem
That’s mainly it for now for what I remember, a lot of good ass encounters. Favorite boss is either garm stage 1 or odin final stage due to how open he is.

Best to never use it. Game is not designed with it in mind as stated by the developers and they only added it in due to peer pressure which is why it’s very bad.

regarding the deletion, nah I just moved on to different games and needed more space (lost judgment. Awesome to no-damage btw. Its got a pretty high but manageable skill ceiling. Its a fun learning progress.)

And regarding the lock on, it just appears to have to do with enemy AI. i did the fight in the clip for like 20 times. Some enemies just wouldnt approach me (probably due to game balancing since it´d be unfair if all enemies attack at the same time).
But by locking onto the enemy, that somehow manipulates their AI into thinking that I am fighting them or something. And when they think that I am fighting them, they will of course respond back by approaching me (which was the one thing I needed to set up that massive ring out)
