SMT V

The protagonist's design is just so cool, I might buy the game down the line regardless. Anyone here planning on picking it up? Feel free to post notes here, I'd love to read some indepth stuff.

I will be playing it the second I can digitally. I will be on the hardest difficulty, and I am going to buy all of the PreLC as shitty as it is that there is like 20$ worth of dlc already.
I will have any answers to any questions you got. This series is probably my specialty knowledge wise, so I will be very critical.

I’m getting it day one. Last game I’m buying to cap off this dreadful year.

I might ask for this for Christmas, so I'm keen to hear what you guys think. Hopefully it impresses!

So-so game so far. Open areas are not utilized in a way that add to the battle encounter design, and as such are quite disappointing compared to grid-style games.

I actually bought this not long after release and was liking it. But didn't even get through the first area before quitting. What I'm about to say is a personal gripe. I not saying this makes it a bad game.

My issue is that you can't have a team of the same demons. Some might not understand this or agree with it on any level, but for me it's important.

is this game coming to PC? ill buy it when it drops on steam.

I enjoyed the little bit I played of this but I dropped it after like 5 hours. Like Birdman said, not saying the game is bad or whatever, but some things kind of annoyed me after playing so much Persona.

I don't understand why they limit who you can have in your party.

The very first area you can recruit slimes and some kind of goblin. Slimes start with Blind and soon learn Poison. The goblins have Confuse. Was planning to start my status effect team.

There's no chance it's a balance issue. Look up what people do to super bosses on the hardest mode. You get demons so powerful and with move customized through fusion that you can't lose. Attacks that do so much damage it's insane but they don't want me to have a team of basic slimes?

Also hate how you have to buy an item to scan enemies.
