Kitetsu versus Alma

It's cool that you hit her by throwing the Kitetsu blade. I don't think any other player has ever used this strategy. I wonder if it's possible to hit her also with the other weapons, maybe if you stay close to the walls so she can't get too far from you.

I've found two so far, one being the Kitetsu. The other is with the True Dragon Sword. Use >XXXX or >XXYY just as she is about to hit you with the rush attack. The >X has i.frames so it'll tank right through, and if the camera is good you can get a running slash as a final reward which can hit up to 6 times thanks to its broken hitbox dealing massive damage.

All in all, even some guys like Kazama Jin are like "wow, the fuck" on NGrealm, so that's pretty cool. Cannot believe players never tried this.

I actually tried it but I always got nailed. It seems to be a pretty strict dodge, congratulations for having found the right timing. The Dragon Sword technique sounds to be incredibly cool, if you still have a save you should put that on video too, and then find if it's possible to do it with all weapons. Maybe the Dabilahro ->Y after dodging could be viable too.

Actually I think your finding have a sort of historical value, I don't think other players ever done something like that! Keep it up!

I'm doing a single-weapon run with all weapons (working on Warhammer now), so I'll probably have to make a video with each weapon eventually. The timing is pretty rocky, too early and you're out of range, too late and you get stuck in her huge hitbox and slammed.

It really does feel like I unearthed some bizarre technology after more than a decade, pretty hype that I could add something to this game and its community even so long after its release ^^
