How is the Blacklist? I remember the first trailer years ago and saying "jup, he's probably her Dad". Wonder if that was true...

It does explain all of that though takes a while.

I don't know. It's alright but I tend to not care much for it these days. Took a break, came back and didn't care that much for it. Kinda just feel like I have to see it through. Reddington is usually a pretty entertaining character though.

Into the Badlands is fantastic. I love martial arts and the fights are so good.

Supernatural is so bad it's good. Another I force myself to watch because I've been at it for so long. I really liked the early seasons where it was monster of the week and they'd do all the research and preparation. Now it's all about Bible stuff and angel blades that kill anything. A real drag and really poorly written I feel.

I've lost count of how many fights where bad guy knocks out one brother, then is about to finish the other when the knocked out one stabs it in the back.

If it's a big baddie they decide this is the perfect time to start a monologue going over their evil plans then get stabbed in the back. Watch it. It happens almost every time.

Catching up on the latest season of The Blacklist and The 100.

Still need to finish Twin Peaks Season 3.

Into the Badlands and Supernatural are done for now. Waiting for new seasons. Not really interested in Supernatural but I'll watch it just to finish it. Next season is supposed to be the last.

Same on Twin Peaks Season 3. I really want to watch it, but I just can't get into it like I did with the original for some reason. Not quite sure why.

I'm a huge fan of David Lynch and I think Twin Peaks (season 3) is the best of his works. However you must know his filmography, Twin Peaks (1990-1991) and its prequel to truly appreciate it.

I watched both of those, so I know what's going on, but TP3 seems so bizarre I found it hard to follow. I've seen like, the first 4 eps though from what I remember.

Will get back into it.

Watched until the nuclear-bomb episode myself, which was fantastic. But Twin Peaks always resonated with me for its mystery and characters, while this season seems more about the weird.

Finished The OA recently. Definitely one of the weirder things I've ever seen. Really liked the first season but didn't feel the second.

Started Star Trek Discovery. Dont care for the series but I'll watch anything with Michelle Yeoh.

Need to catch up with the latest season of The Blacklist. Left it about halfway through the season.

Ongoing are Elementary and The 100.

Psycho-Pass is really good. I hear the second season is trash, but season 1 so far (Am on episode 18) is great.

I haven't watched anime for a while. As time goes on I find the drawing gets worse and I hate the 3D stuff.

I liked Psycho Pass though, but it made me think too much which I hate. Season 2 didn't feel as good.

I wish they'd make anime like the old school stuff with stupid stories and violence like Angel Cop and Shin Getter Robo.

Watching Kengan Ashura now. It's absolutely absurd. I love it.

Watched Demon Slayer. Pretty good shit. Started The Seven Deadly Sins. I find the animation pretty crap mostly with some snippets of quality during fights. I really like some of the character designs though.

For non anime, The Dark Crystal, Z Nation and Vikings. Finished From Dusk Til Dawn recently.

Would you recommend I continue with watching/reading SDS? I remember reading it a while back, and I dropped it, because the MC was super cringeworthy.

Is it only the MC you didn't like? I don't care for him too much or the series as a whole, I just like some of the designs.

Haven't watched any in recent times. Saw the writing on the wall with GoT S7, so I didn't bother. Never got around to finishing Breaking Bad (and never started The Walking Dead *was only going to watch a season or two*). Plenty of anime on my plate from the past and present (some in the future, too). I've put Demon Slayer on the backburner. Not sure what I'll actually watch next, frankly.

Anyone looking forward to The Witcher this week? The trailer looks good.

The sword fights were pretty brutal, and the effects are decent.

Never read the books so I don't know how the show compares. I've only played a little of the third game, so I couldn't tell you whether their portrayal is accurate or not.

Anybody watched Marvel's Agents of Shield? I heard from certain internet communities that it was terrible and didn't consider watching it for a long time, but I saw the Season 1 Blu-Ray for a stupid cheap price and thought it was worth a go.

I have to say, it's really good! The first half of Season 1 is a bit slow, admittedly, but once it kicks off every episode ends with something that makes you want to watch the next one. It also has one of the most likeable sets of heroes I can remember in a TV show. It's a real shame that it has a mixed reception online. I suspect it's because it wasn't made by Kevin Feige, who is the producer of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movies. There are a good few fans who won't accept anything made without their precious Lord Feige as canon.

I have a few episodes of Season 3 left, and I already have the Blu-Ray sets for 4 and 5 ready to go (6 still hasn't had a home release, and 7 is due to air on TV later this year). If you know you can't get into superhero shows then this probably won't change your mind, but otherwise I'd definitely recommend it. If you're an MCU fan, this is must watch IMO.

I remember it was mostly a victim of bad advertising. When the show launched people expected it to constantly have cameos, but were surprised that it was mostly just a few 5 second visits or limited to side-characters popping in. Season 1 bombed and I remember stopping there too. Heard the later seasons are excellent, but most didn't give it a shot then indeed. Good to hear you enjoyed it!

I like it. I've watched part of the most recent season online. I think I stopped because at the time I'd caught up. It should be finished now or possibly into a new season. Will check later.

Caught up with The Blacklist but got tired of it dragging on. Haven't watched much else recently. Netflix sucks and I canceled it.

Fact that apparently we're stuck in 1955 in terms of technology and fashion (iphone not withstanding), the guy apparently speaks extremely bizarre mixture of German, Dutch, English and French that I've never even heard of, to the point that I even needed the subtitles haha. Absolutely loved that stuff hahaha, just so deliciously bad.

Yeah I guess they never expect you to look too closely at the details. I know nothing of your country or the language so I wouldn't be able to detect anything off.

Yeah I always love that sort of stuff personally. That 'out of touch' mentality. Remember a tourist in Turkey once when I was there that was surprised they had roads and phones haha.

Watching Transformers War For Cybertron.

Not bad. Good graphics and some of the fights are cool. Love the way Jetfire fights. Transforming mid air and coming down on a Seeker with his beam saber and slicing it in half. He's like Raiden.

Mirage using his hologram powers to make clones of himself was cool too.

Finished Killing Eve. Didn't know there were 4 seasons. I watched the first two years ago then forgot about it.

Going to try American Horror Story and Better Call Saul.

Never got through American Horror Story. I think I got to season 3 then got bored.

Couldn't be bothered with Better Call Saul.

Got Prime to watch The Boys. Started some RE movie and the story is all over the place. It's like they got RE1 and 2 and mashed them together with a lot of nonsense changes.

I don't know wtf that movie was.

They made Leon this weird wimp. Gets bullied and is all timid and scared. It was pathetic.

I get that in RE2 he wasn't a super hero yet but still.

This movie is like they got pieces of RE1, RE1 remake, RE2 and CVX then just mashed them up.

I highly recommend it just so you have to suffer as I did.
