World Of Final Fantasy

This is probably the best FF I've played, just because the idea is so bizarre.
Can't wait to get more monsters and make weird teams. It even has PvP.

I've heard a ton of good things about this game! Really like how it is turn based as well, really miss that in a lot of RPGs these days.

Back to playing this. Dropped it when I got into MHW then got inundated with games and it got pushed further back.

Went to buy the Maxima DLC expansion and found I'd already bought it but hadn't installed.

Working on leveling up my Malboro. In a few more levels it can evolve into a Malboro Menace. Not sure if it's better. When you evolve you carry over stats but not all abilities so previous forms remain unique to an extent.

I'm mainly playing with status effect monsters. Malboro has Bad Breath which inflicts several at once.

I just got this little eye robot and when I stacked with Malboro and the human character I got a combined move called Hex Eye which inflicts a few statuses.

I forgot what that video said, but you get new moves with certain combinations.

Finally got to the post game dungeon grinding spot. Working on some build ideas.

Are status effects good enough on their own to make a notable difference in combat?

I've ignored this game up until now, but if you had enough interest to reach the post game, I'm now curious.

You have the usual resistances but yeah they make a difference.
What annoys me is most bosses are completely immune.

There's PvP but I'm not sure if it's still active. I'm working on some builds for it anyway.

PvP is dead and has a lot of limitations.

None of my unique build are working out. The game really just wants physical and magic damage.

Got most mirages and none are offering anything interesting. There are ways to get 1 hit kills on the toughest superbosses but they're boring.

Once I've maxed out their boards I'm done. Might go back to Ni No Kuni 2.
