Knack 2 All Day Everyday Baybeee!!!
So I played this through(on a new game) in it's entirely with my Dad last year or so, this being Knack 2 it was of course Knacktacular. I showed him Birdman's Primo Tactical guide for optimal TechKnacks to use in your Knacktics(if we're still using these terms ha) and he was thoroughly impressed. Didn't really play to the best of our abilities since we don't play for difficulty mostly so we where too uncoordinated to use the unique Co-op moves(with the blue Knack I hereby dub Knick, I do miss Robo-Knack).

I was going to include those in the guide but never got round to it.
You can do stuff like hit the other to send out a spray of relics, give relics to each other, or toss the other player across the room.

The tales of Gabe reach far and wide(read: 1 forum) and my reputation precedes me as it rightfully should. In earnest I never knew I had any real influence on anyone's game choices. So that's nice to here. What games exactly? I've been a bit dormant(maybe this is comment is better placed elsewhere).

He is a charlatan, a sham and the biggest poser of us all. As penitence I demand he change the Stinger magazine to the Stinger Knacktion magazine and only upload Knack related content for all time.

Regarding Co-op moves: They are situationally useful but are outclassed by later abilities, namely the boomerang. They also cause friendly fire issues, many times we'd gangbang a mob or forced into such a placement that we collide and attack eachother by accent due to Knack's auto-aim. More of an inconvenience than a core issue.

Actual damage or just hit-stun?

I forget how to do the relic shot thing with partners. Only ever saw a video. Might only be on specific moves.

Are there more enemies in co-op?

Just Hit-stun.

Rapid punch partner to shoot bits.
There is also an extra aerial ground pound move performed by belly flopping on your partner to send them up into the air to do the same with extra AoE.

None that I noticed. No balancing changes, but you do share control of the tank and mech, believe 1P has movement control while 2P attacks(or partially so).

Finally beat the game about 10 years later than promised haha. Did a playthrough on Hard.

Really enjoyed my time with it, as noted in the comments there's a surprising amount of depth (especially once you get more of the toys) though I do feel some things could've been expanded upon (like dodging by shrinking). Also hated how late we got the grab, wish you'd start with that as the entire campaign I felt like I was missing something. Also felt the campaign was a bit too long for its own good.

Those minor gripes aside, just really took me by surprise. Quite difficult, challenging enemies, quick load times, a ton of secrets, fun stages to explore and also...surprisingly epic in scale (holy shit that final stage was like Vanquish's Kreon stage on steroids). Really feels like a game made by action fans with a monster budget and the desire to appeal to newcomers as well. Haven't tried the co-op yet but fact that the entire game can be played in co-op just boggles my mind, super cool.

Also liked the challenge, it was never broken or unfair, just cool and fun. Platforming was neat too with some pretty spicy challenges.

I'm going to move in two days so I'm finishing up runs before my consoles are locked away for a bit. Glad I could finish this game!
