Most fun I've had in ages. Pure gameplay and insanely replayable for high scores. Seems to have only gotten a physical release in the US but you can get it on Playasia and every region has it on PSN. Buy it NOW. Like before even finishing this sentence.
It's on PS4 sale, I'll get that and play with my dad, really love those new characters(gonna play as the dog) and updated art and animations, still has the wild guns look.
Would this game come under various games section? Since you put gunvalkrie in various action games section when both are shooters, doesn't really matter. We don't actually spend much time saying which genre games are as we spend more time discussing each game individually. I'm not particularly anal about genre this or genre that.
Got it a day ago, great fun, testing new characters they seem op if used well, more so Dorothy, bullet seems like the easy mode character since he can move and shoot at once. Coop is shit since it has no continues its start all over even though single player has checkpoints after every stage, bad design no need for archaic no continue stipulations, especially when it's shared lives on coop.
It's so much fun man. And going for high scores offers so much replay value. You really need to memorize where the enemies are going to appear and take them down fast, and the backgrounds are destructible. There's loads of things to shoot for points and power ups.

They captured the snes visuals well, if you beat it without continues then you can use snes sound effects audio.
Bullet(dog with sentry bot) can auto target enemies in a set area, dog can move while the bot shoots so they seem like the beginner character as every else is stationary but has fine aim instead. Bot can be hit stunning it for a short time.
Dorothy(tubby lady) throws dynamite and has 3 stun lassos, dynamite can be charged to up to 8 I think, she has a dash that's the fastest dodge in game and can still charge dynamite as she does so. She has a jumping ground pound melee move too.
