This looks cool. I'm reading there are lots of spells and relics you can equip and come up with various builds. Seems a bit like Dead Cells.

I got this months ago, combat is really fast, there’s a ton of variety with the different spell combinations. But the rogue like model is a negative for me, since actually being able to beat a game reliably adds more replay value, forcing me to 1CC the game every time is too much of an investment.
I’d like it if they just had the option to save level progress, and have the rogue like be there also.
The coop is neat too, but again I’m not gonna 1CC anything with my Dad.

To note: Its an action game for sure, I mean you shoot/melee and dashing around using sick big spells for combo multipliers.

You have permanent currency(Chaos Gems) used to buy spells and such at the Hub shops, these are then added to your spells selection(a floating book) permanently in the Hub. You also have a wardrobe for various cloaks(different stats) and relics(buffs/modifiers). A separate currency(coins) is used to buy stuff in the dungeons, anything(other than gems) you acquire during a game will be lost upon death(including coins).

I only played about 2hrs(including coop with my Dad) or so and bought many spells, they were reasonably priced so far, so you'll have lots to work with in short order.
